In a week's time, the world gathers in Copenhagen, Denmark, to pursue a binding global agreement on limiting carbon emissions.

Already, it's clear we won't get an agreement comprehensive enough to force the deep cuts scientists say are necessary to slow down climate change.

Reboot Alberta Interview on CHQR am 770

Ken discusses Reboot Alberta and it hopes to get the Progressive voice heard in the political culture of Alberta.

Ken explains, "it's an inclusive voice, when you deal with the economy you have to deal with the environment as well. Currently, we are not taking a long-term view and really starting to mortgage our future. People are starting to take on their citizenship and take it a lot more seriously."

As one of the most successful Western Canadian premiers in the history of our country, Gary brought a keen sense of stewardship and sustainability to resource development. And this is exactly the quality that's needed, as he engages Americans on Canada's ability to meet the energy security of the North American continent - and beyond.

Too many prominent Canadians are ready to walk away from the oil sands, in the face of a vigorous international campaign against "dirty oil."
