CSI helps to build up diplomatic relation between all orders of the government and stakeholders. The following are some recent Diplomacy work that CSI has completed:

  • CSI advised forestry and energy firms on earning social license (clients included Alberta Forest Products Association, and Canadian Association of Petroleum Producers). Using sophisticated research techniques, we mapped the values driving citizens’ attitudes. This enabled governments and firms to determine how policies should evolve to earn “social license” as preferred stewards of public resources.
  • CSI worked with EPCOR (and the branch that later became Capital Power) to diminish social friction as it developed electricity generation, transmission, and water management projects in Canada and internationally. CSI enabled a cultural shift: that every employee on an EPCOR project works to ensure its public planning processes create and maintain stakeholder support.
