

Ken offers extensive experience in policy development and implementation, coalition building, strategic communications, government relations and issues management. In his public policy work over the past three decades, both as a lawyer and as a political and policy advisor, he established a broad network of connections within the political leadership of all orders of government. He is respected for his creativity, communications and skills in policy design and implementation and has strong relationships among senior Alberta government officials. He has designed many effective Issues Management and Communications Strategies and Political Action Plans covering a wide range of public policy areas within and amongst all three orders of government, especially the Government of Canada and the Government of Alberta. Satya has worked with all levels of government in such areas as: social policy development; issues management; public/private partnerships; intergovernmental relations; stakeholder consultations and program evaluation; international trade and aid policies and development; and international relations. He received the The Province of Alberta Human Rights Award in 1999, and the City of Edmonton conferred a 2001 Citation Award for lifetime services to human rights and culture.
